Round 1:     Spring application of Fertilizer and Crabgrass preventer.

This application is done mid to late March into early April, depending on weather conditions. For it to be the most effective, it needs watered in either by irrigation or rainfall.

 

Round 2:     Late Spring application of Fertilizer and Crabgrass preventer, Also a blanket application of broadleaf weed spray.

                   This application is done late April through the entire month of May, depending on weather conditions. The weed spray can’t be done in windy or rainy conditions.

 

Round 3:     Summer application of Fertilizer, spot spray application for weeds.

                   Performed in June/July, this is a summer application of fertilizer to help reduce the effects of drought or heat stress. We also will check for any disease or insect activity. It is important the regular watering is being done by the homeowner, recommended 1 inch per week if possible. Also, an application of Grub control preventative can be done at this time.

 

Grub Preventative (Optional): Summer application done with Rd 3 to prevent grub activity later in the summer/fall.

                   This is an application for preventing grub damage later in the summer. It requires watering to move the product into the root zone.

 

Round 4:     Early fall application of Fertilizer, spot spray application for weeds.

                   Done in August, this fertilizer helps with drought recovery, also helps lawns regenerate. We will also check for any disease or insect activity. An aeration can be done at this time to reduce compaction and help with reseeding lawns.

 

Fall Aeration (Optional): Core aeration to reduce thatch and compaction.

This is done in September and is an excellent way to reseed your lawn at the same time.

 

Round 5:     Late fall application of fertilizer and a blanket spray of weed spray.

                   This is done in October and helps prepare your lawn going into the winter months, and will help with early spring green up next year.
